Video Description Templates (A Step-by-step Guide)

VISO Catalyst allows you to create description templates and save them so that you don't have to copy/paste your video description every time you upload a video for a series/playlist.

You can also create generic templates for all of your videos if you use the same description most of the time.

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to your Optimization page and click on the pencil shaped icon to edit your video.

2. Write the description in the area below and save it as a New Template. You can always edit your description at any time.

3. After you click on "New Template" under "Save", you'll see a pop up window asking you to name your description template.

Save your template and you're done!

Don't forget to scroll all the way down on the edit page to save the changes you made to that particular video. Your new description template is now ready to be selected for any of your other videos. This makes it really easy if you have multiple links and information in your descriptions that you want to use for multiple videos. It'll save you a lot of copy/pasting and editing time.
